St. Ambrose Knights of Columbus regular meeting 4-18-2018

G/Knight Dan DePorter called the meeting to order and led the opening prayer and pledge.
Approval of the previous monthly minutes was presented and a motion to approve was made by Dick and a second by Bob, motion carried.
Treasurer’s report was presented by Larry and a motion by Tom to approve and a second by Dick motion approved.
F/S Brent reported that we have 92 members 32 associate and 60 insurance. Brent also report that the retention committee has sent out second notices on those members that are delinquent and will soon be off our rolls. A motion by Dennis and a second from Bob motion carried. Membership committee for recruiting team for new members is Dan, Rick, John and Brent.
Correspondence received was from MDA that was received and filed and from Knoxville for their outing for St Jude. Notes were received from Biking for Babies, New Mallory Abbey (Gene) and Blackhawk area Education Center. Brent read a note informing members that John McLaughlin is putting out his intention to run for Grand Knight.
The Guy Randazzo Golf Outing was mentioned and Matt spoke at the masses.
There was discussion on the Scholarship donation for Jordan and Alleman.
Dennis reported on the Palm Sunday Breakfast and thanked everyone who participated.
There was discussion on the Flag that Bob is going to correct. Mothers Day Roses will be ordered and passed out after Mass. The Convention is April 26 -29. The Tootsie Roll Drive will be held on the 21st and 22nd of September.
G/K DePorter led the closing prayer and adjourned the meeting.
