Meeting Notes
G/K DePorter call the meeting to order at 6.30 pm.
G/K DePorter led the opening prayer and pledge.
Minutes of the previous meeting were accepted as presented. Motion by Jerry and a second by Tom motion carried.
The treasurer report was presented by Paul. Payment for 1/2 of the doors and the bill for the coats finally arrived to be paid. Motion by Dick and a second by Steve motion carried.
The F/S report by Brent was presented. We have 99 members and have forwarded bills to Paul. Brent mentioned the passing of our past member Angie. Motion by Tom and a second by Dick motion carried.
The Major Degree date was set for May 6, 2021 along with the Fourth Degree Exemplification on June 5, 2021.
Seminarian donation was discussed and Fr Baker will get with Paul to finalize where it is to be sent.
Kitchen remodeling was discussed and updated by Larry. Cal is scheduling the electrical and plumbing. A big thank you to Art for his expertise and hard work to complete the masonry work. Cabinets are 4 to 6 weeks out.
Larry updated the members on the Guy Randazzo Golf Outing. As a side note when Moose visited the other councils the outing was brought up to participate.
The Terri-Lynn candy and nuts event was discussed and Steve will be taking the lead the next time it is offered as a fundraising event.
The Consecration to St Joseph book was talked about. If you have any interest in purchasing the book contact Tom.
Knight of Knights was discussed and Bob and Dan will be recognized at the Event.
Preston talked about the April 26, 2021 Meal Site event and will take care of the arrangements. The men who usually help will be notified.
Officers Elections was discussed and anyone that would like step forward or has any interest in a position on the Executive Board bring it to meeting next month.
D/D Yordy presented the Star Council requirements and forms that need to be completed. Dave made note of form #10784 that needs to be completed by June 30, 2021. The state convention was also discussed.
Father Baker shared and presented his comments from the Columbian Magazine. The article on our new Supreme Leader and the article on St. Joseph.
A motion to adjourn by Larry and a second by Paul motion carried.
Father Baker led the closing prayer.
