Grand Knight (Dan DePorter) called the meeting to order at 7:00.
Meeting started with a prayer followed by the Pledge of Allegiance.
Minutes of previous meeting – approved by group
Treasurers’ report– present funds – $25,490.09 Approved by Paul and Preston. (living legends)
$949.52 cost of coats.
Business items:
Brent reported 2 new possible members.
Brent – reported 2 boxes of girl coats and 2 boxes of boy coats. Approved by Larry and Jeff
Checks coming in for peanuts and candy for $1100. $350 profit.

Thank you from Muscular Dystrophy Association.
The March to Emmaus took place On Oct. 8 and was a success. It went from the Cathedral at Davenport to St. Mary’s in Moline. 1000 people participated and the Davenport Cathedral was full. It was on the front page of the Catholic Post. Steve Deporter reported on the Rosary. Steve monitors the rosaries and noted everything is still going well with full coverage.
Woman’s Choice Center Dinner, 500 attended. Cost – $478 and donations were $331.
Future Events –
New Men’s Cursillo – Last weekend in Feb. Thursday to Sunday at Christ the King
Possible prochoice dinner in Feb.
Taco dinner in March. Steve Deporter in charge.
Diaper drive at the end of Jan. Steve and Jeff in charge.
There are 166 on the Veteran’s plaque. now.
Tom Verschoore’s son is finishing his Eagle Scout Award and needs a final project. Tom was asking about possible
suggestions for a project.
The Tabor the Knights discussed at several meetings was provided by a Knights member anonymously.
Larry reported info and reservations for golf outing will be available soon. Date would be June 17, the Saturday before Father’s Day.
St. Ambrose needs a maintenance worker for 10 to 26 hours a week.
Preston reported there were 24 carry outs at the meal site on Nov. 28. Preston said that Jim from Jim’s Knoxville Tap donates food for the meal site on a regular basis. Preston suggested that the Knights make a donation to St Jude’s in Jim’s name. The suggestion was tabled to discuss the amount.
