G/K DePorter called the meeting to order at 7.00.

G/K DePorter led the opening prayer and pledge.

Recorder Maranda read the previous from January. Motion to accept as read by Larry and a second by Bob motion carried.

F/S Highfelt reported on 94 members. Received the Council Status from Supreme which is in good standing. All accounts were accounted for and presented the Supreme bill for $445.34. Motion by Preston and a second by Bernie for payment motion carried.

Tom DePorter was recognized for his advancement to the 4th Degree.

Treasure Report by Paul all bills are paid. Discussion about the Chile Supper for Pro Life. After discussion the $500.00 will be awarded. Motion by Dick and second by Jay motion carried. Paul also mention that the rest of the Councils will be billed for the Major Degree.

G/K DePorter recognized Sue Griffith for discussion for the upcoming Ladies Rummage Sale Event. Sue requested help for setting up on Sunday the 24th starting at 12.30. Also the tearing down after the sale on Saturday the 30th starting at 1.30.

The Taco Supper was discussed and Larry and Dan are heading to Costco for all the fixins needed. Anyone able to check in Friday afternoon to offer any assistance is welcome. Set up will be Saturday at 1.00.

The Prime Rib Supper on the 20th was discussed and Preston will be in contact with Jim to move forward with this Event.

The Guy Randazzo Memorial Golf Outing on June 8th was discussed and the link will be the same as last year.

There is a Faith and Fellowship Night at the River Bandits Game on June 9th. More information to follow.

Received a request for a generous donation to the State Convention was received. A courtesy response is requested by April 1st.

A request for a donation to the Warrior to Lourdes Pilgrimage was discussed.

Dick presented a thank you card from the Black Hawk Area Ed Center for the $1,000.00 from the Tootsie Roll Drive.

A thank you from the K of C Charities U.S. Disaster Fund for the $900.00 donation for those effected in the recent hurricanes and fires.

The State Deputy (Ted Stites) sent a letter to all councils referencing recruitment. He is requesting a vigorous campaign to include a First Degree every month for the rest of the year. More to be discussed.
