Treasurer report:
Paul Putnam states 14,633.63 in account.
He will disburse $1,900 to SPEC and $1,900 to Blackhawk Area Special Education District.
Taco Dinner realized a profit of $699.
Treasurer Report approved.
District Director: Dave Yordy reports our council has met insurance Quota and we signed on enough new members to qualify for Star Council designation.
He also states 4th Degree instruction in planning for May 2022.
Requesting volunteers to March in QCA St. Patrick’s Day Parade this Saturday, 12 Mar.
Also, asking if our council members are volunteering for John Deere Classic.

Denny chairing Palm Sunday Pancake Breakfast. He plans on calling Knights to volunteer for the Breakfast.
Greg, Thomas and Steve will meet for bylaws committee with Larry.

Prayers requested for Mary and Mike Zemkowski. Mary has cancer.
Chaplain Report:
Father Joe informs that the Padre Pio relic will be displayed this coming Monday evening, 14 March. Father reminds us of the goal to get our council in the Columbia Magazine. Request for diocesan regular fund for Rachael’s Vineyard was declined in it’s present form. Father plans to contact diocese chapter president, Dave Votz, to explore other options to establish fund. Father noted Illini defeated Hawkeyes. He read us a letter he received expressing dissatisfaction by church hall chairwoman with the state of cleanliness of the hall after KOC Taco supper. It is felt no official reply is needed.
No official KOC involvement with upcoming parish rummage sale, but volunteer assistance is encouraged.
New Business
Elections. G/K DePorter agreed to stay on as G/K for one year, with caveat he gets to pick and nominate the officers for council positions for the May election.
Jeff DePorter will research ordering KOC ball caps. 1 or 2 dozen?
Steve made a motion council to donate $500 to KOC Ukraine. Motion modified to KOC Poland instead. Motion approved.
Motion and approved to donate $100 to St. Ambrose Dance Marathon.
