Meeting Notes
G/K DePorter called the meeting to order at 6.30.
G/K DePorter led the opening prayer and pledge.
Pervious minutes were read and approved as presented with one correction. Motion by Larry and second by Dick motion carried.
We had no Treasurer Report reported.
F/S report was presented by Brent that everything is the same as last month. A bill for the web site and the Tootsie Rolls bill were paid. The coats were received and will be delivered. Motion by John and second by Tom motion carried. The calendar of events was passed out and praying that the COVID-19 Pandemic will not disrupt these events.
Moose reported on the 1-3 degree that he and Jerry did a test run and is good to go when ready. They are going to get the latest update from Brent to notify members of the opportunity to complete these steps. Then hopefully advance to the 4th degree level.
Bud reported on the 4th degree that the first state wide exemplification was a success and are planning another in February.
Dick reported that the Tootsie Roll Drive was a success and both SPEC and the Blackhawk Special Education will receive approximately #1400.00 from this event.
Larry report on the Kitchen and Gym project and handed out the preliminary drawing of the project. There was questions asked and discussion on the project.
The meal site dinner was discussed and will be prepared by the staff at Knoxville Tap. Plans for pick up and the distribution is finalized for Monday the 23rd.
Steve presented comments of appreciation on Moose with another Combat Vet that had to be admitted with Steve’s Professional advice on care and observation.
John presented a Knights of Columbus decal that can be placed on a vehicle to show you are a Knight and what Council you’re affiliated with. After discussion the motion to purchase them by John and second by Dick and Steve motion carried.
NO DECEMBER MEETING
IMPORTANT NOTICE
THE MEETING DATE WAS DISCUSSED IN LENGTH TO MOVE THE MONTHLY MEETING AND MAKE SURE IT WAS ACCEPTABLE TO THE MEMBERS TO THE FIRST WEDNESDAY OF THE MONTH. A MOTION BY JOHN AND SECOND BY STEVE MOTION CARRIED.
