Date – Nov. 2, 2022 – minutes of meeting
Grand Knight (Dan DePorter) called the meeting to order at 6:30. Meeting started with a prayer followed by the Pledge of Allegiance.
Minutes of previous meeting – approved by group
Treasurers’ report– present funds – $28,409.70 – one outstanding check. Approved Bob, Dick 2 nd .
Business items:
Brent reported 88 members and 62 associates. Asked to get in raffle tickets ASAP. Everything looks as if it is paid for. Approved by Steve and 2 nd by Chris.
How many want to move up degrees? Degree information – If interested in 4 th Degree – on Sat., June 25 in Galesburg there will be a ceremony. Price is $40, lunch at 11 and the ceremony follows lunch.
The March to Emmaus took place On Oct. 8 and was a success. It went from the Cathedral at Davenport to St. Mary’s in Moline. 1000 people participated and the Davenport Cathedral was full. It was on the front page of the Catholic Post.
Steve Deporter reported on the Rosary. He noted everything is going well with full coverage.
Woman’s Choice Center Dinner went well.
Dec. 3 – Dinner with Bishop. After Mass there will be a meal served in the Community Center. A chance to meet the
Bishop after Mass. Dan is chairman. Will need 6 to 10 to help.
Tabor discussion led by Bob. More input is needed especially from Father Joe. The discussion will be continued later.
Women’s Cursillo – Nov. 12 at Christ the King
Food Pantry – Dick and Preston need extra help four times a year. The Nov. 28 meal site is one of the dates. Please
contact and help.
Landscaping in front of the church is finished. Nice Job! Motion to pay whole bill approved.
Larry – Coats for Kids discussed. Everyone agreed it is a good charity. The cost may be over a $1000. Larry and Tom
approved motion to support.

* Post note – The dinner meeting with the Bishop after Mass went well. The Knights did a great job of cooking and
serving the food. The food was excellent. The crew working did an outstanding job!
