Meeting Notes
G/K Deporter called the meeting to order at 7:00.
G/K Deporter led the opening prayer and the pledge.
Previous minutes were presented and approved and motion by Bud and a second by Jerry motion passed.
Treasurer report was presented by Paul that all bills were paid. Seminarian (Nick Conner) donation has been sent and when the cancelled check is back we will send off for the $100.00 refund.
F/S Brent reported that we are close to 100 members. Orders for the shirts are being taken and an upgrade for a Polo Shirt is only $10.00. Everything has been sent to State with the Transfers and Deceased.
G/K Deporter discussed the District Meeting and Star Council Requirements. There was a brief discussion on Pro Life and the Pregnancy Resources.
Jerry will do the checking and setting up the First Degree coming in January.
Jerry and Dick reported that the bags are in and 100 were sent to St. Pats. The new Food Pantry Building will be open in November if things stay on schedule.
Bernie has the Knights Mass for October 6th at 8:.00am information sent to the families. The Knights will be covering all positions for this Mass.
The Veterans Plaque was discussed and was put in place but is going to go back for additional names and the recognition of the Knights put on. Thanks again to Bob Plasschaert for the time he put in on this project.
Jay and Dick talked about the Tootsie Roll Drive and need quite a bit of help to fill the vacancies that are open.
The Taco Event being chaired by John W was discussed about prices and drinks. The date may have to be moved to October 26 th from 4 to 7 because of the conflict with Rummage Sales and not enough time to switch everything around.
The Priest Appreciation Dinner that will be planned next spring before any changes are passed down. Bud, Jerry and Moose will be chairing this event.
The G/K is looking for Knights to chair other events coming up.
REMEMBER THAT THE OCTOBER MEETING TIME WILL BE AT 6.00 IN THE PARISH CENTER’S BIG CLASS ROOM.
