Meeting Notes 

 

G/K Deporter called the meeting to order at 6.30 pm. 

Father Joe led the opening prayer. 

G/K Deporter led the pledge. 

Minutes of the previous meeting were read and a motion to accept by Bud and a second by George motion approved. 

Treasurer report was presented by Paul. The only bill outstanding is the payment of the Tootsie Rolls. There will be 18 families receiving scholarship money at the present time. More information on the remaining families to be looked at. 

F/S report was presented by Brent. Audit is complete and the Trustees will be signing and will be sent. We have 97 members in the council and Father Charles has transferred.  

Dick reported that there is still some vacancies to fill for the Tootsie Roll Drive. Steve inquired about learning about the Drive and will get with Dick with any others that have questions.  

Bricks for the Parish walk was discussed. By not being able to meet we missed the dead line but will be submitted for the next time. 

There was an update report presented by Moose and Dick on Jerry Fowler. 

Members were ask to sign up or let G/K DePorter know for a breakfast at the Riverfront Grille after the Columbus Day Mass. Father Joe asked about a presentation of what the Knights do for the Church and Community. G/K DePorter will make that presentation. 

G/K DePorter talked about some volunteers from the Council to sign up for a crew to assist Parishioners.  

Father Joe mentioned that the CCD group will be moved on line and will not need the money for a meal. Father has seven (7) new names for servers for different occasions and will be setting up training. 

We discussed the new members for the first, second and third degree. This will prepare for the fourth degree exemplification on November 7th. 

The Kitchen update was sent back to the drawing board as the bid was too expensive for the plan presented and will be rebid at a later date. 

Bob P. who continues to do a tremendous amount of work on the Veterans Plaque announced that he has ten (10) more names to be added. If you know anyone who he may be missing be sure to bring the name forward to be added. 

Warden Tom commented on what a wonderful job that Dick done as Warden. 

Father Joe led the closing prayer.
